Mwanamke Imara is a three-years project jointly implemented by Tanzania Women Lawyers Association (TAWLA) which is the lead applicant, Tanzania Network of Legal Aid Providers (TANLAP), Women in Law and Development (WiLDAF) and Kilimanjaro Women Information Exchange (KWIECO). Each partner has a specific area of implementation. WiLDAF’s specific area of implementation is on outcome number two which is; Strengthen GBV protection and response mechanism to effectively address GBV in Mbeya, Njombe and Kilimanjaro.
Mwanamke Imara project seeks to address violence and structural discrimination against women and young people in Mbeya, Njombe and Kilimanjaro regions of mainland Tanzania. The project is supported by the USAID.
The project targeted stakeholders and beneficiaries including; Police Gender and Children Desks, teachers/lectures, students, community leaders, religious leaders, women, young people and communities at large in six councils and thirty (30) wards of Tanzania mainland.
In that regard, Mwanamke Imara under WiLDAF intends to among others activities; to produce and print a Police Gender and Children Desk Directory to be shared to members of the community to easily report on incidences of Gender Based Violence.
WiLDAF is now seeking for a consultant to print the already produced Directory for the three regions in a professional and standard quality.
